Kangsoon Lee is the Korean Programme Director. She joined the University of Hong Kong in 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Sogang University in Seoul, and a Master of Arts in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language from the Graduate School of Ewha Womens University, also in Seoul. She has taught at several institutions in Korea, including the Ganada Korean Language Institute and her alma mater, Ewha Womans University. Prior to joining the School of Modern Languages and Cultures, she was a Korean Instructor at Korea University's Korean Language and Culture Center. Ms. Lee also holds a Korean Language Teacher's Certificate (Level 2) from the Republic of Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Nowadays her research interest focuses on the instructed second language acquisition,interactions between input and output in the SLA and Korean inter-language aspects from Chinese/Cantonese native speaker learning Korean language.
