SCHOLARSHIPS
The following scholarships are available to students studying Korean at the University of Hong Kong’s School of Modern Languages and Cultures.
KF GLOBAL E-SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to a student who had who has distinguished him/herself in their study of the “Korea Foundation Global E-School program”. Recipients of the award are offered an air fare, tuition and accommodation in Ewha Womans University’s Summer College Programme.
KF Global E-School Scholarship will be awarded with effect from the 2011-12 academic year.
KOREAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE CENTER OF KOREA UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP
This Scholarship, generously donated Korean University’s Korean Language and Culture Center, is awarded to a student who has distinguished him/herself in their study of the Korean language and culture. Recipients of the award are offered a complimentary place in Korean University’s Korean Language and Culture Center Summer Programme.
The Korean Language and Culture Center of Korea University Scholarship will be awarded with effect from the 2011-12 academic year.
YONSEI KOREAN LANGUAGE INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIP
This Scholarship, generously donated by Yonsei U’s Korean Language Institute, is awarded to a student who has distinguished him/herself in their study of the Korean language and culture. Recipients of the award are offered a complimentary place in Yonsei U’s Korean Language Institute Summer Programme.
KYUNG HEE UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP
This Scholarship, generously donated by Kyung Hee University, is awarded to students who have distinguished themselves in their study of the Korean language and culture. Recipients of the award are offered a complimentary place in Kyung Hee University’s Korean Summer Programme.
KUMHO ASIANA KOREAN SCHOLARSHIP
This Scholarship, generously donated by the KumhoAsiana Group, is awarded to students who have distinguished themselves in their study of the Korean language and culture. Each recipient is awarded a sum which must go towards supporting their summer language training in Korea.
The Korean Programme is grateful for the generous support received and continues to seek out new opportunities to promote the study of the Korean language and culture at The University of Hong Kong.
